Day at the Faire

Alice writes:

On Sunday of Labor Day weekend, after days and days of rain, the sun finally came out and we took off to explore the Renaissance Faire near Manheim, PA. As we had had days and days and days of dreary weather we took full advantage of our time here and decided to spend the day in costume. What a fantastic decision! JP and I were talking about this later and were amazed at how much being in costume enhanced our experience - we were greeted and engaged by the actors on the street and as Travis was dressed as royalty, of course he garnered plenty of attention. Even Noah commented at how "cool" the day had been when we were leaving. This was a fantastic faire and apparently goes on all summer - we hit it on the right weekend as it was children's weekend - jugglers, stage plays, jousting, archery, trained dogs, medival games - it was a real treat for this family!!! Hope you enjoy the pics........
